1. Affecting Marriages
The relationship with one’s spouse is seen as the most intimate and should be cherished. But it seems that more and more marriages are in shambles. The reason is the lack of agape love. Each of the marriage mate wants that his or her expectations should be fulfilled, his or her emotions should be cared for.
A strong desire to gain prominence causes detention among marriage mates and ultimately is the cause of many divorces. On the other hand, agape love cares more about the benefits of others.
2. Deficiency of inner peace
People have lost their inner peace and that has resulted in more anxious lives. Selfish desires induced in a person spills out the natural affection for others. No matter what good recreation a person enjoys or what material possessions he has, no inner peace can be gained.
We’ve learned to be more social with the use of social sites. We get into a relationship with those who are helpful to us now or in future. This has made the man a mean machine that searches its interest in everyone.
Relationships are strained because of the absence of agape love. The positive atmosphere around a person is replaced with self-centeredness widening the relationship gap.
